1. Thermal transfer printing machine
Thermal transfer printing machine is also called thermal transfer printing. Thermal transfer printing is an emerging printing process that has only been introduced to China from abroad for more than 10 years. The printing method is to print the pigment on the paper to make the transfer printing paper, and then transfer the color to the fabric through high temperature (heat and pressure on the back of the paper), generally used in chemical fiber fabrics, characterized by bright colors and delicate layers. The flowers are realistic and artistic. The transfer printing process is simple, the investment is small, and the production is flexible. At present, it is more popular in the market. Compared with other types of printing, the price of the transfer printing is a bit higher, but it has a certain grade. The chemical fiber fabric needs to use thermal transfer. Methods.
Advantages: simple printing steps, accurate location, natural transition of different colors.
Disadvantages: more colors will discolor, and blue dots and red dots will appear during the printing process. Compared with the traditional screen printing technology, the cost is higher when printing in large quantities.
2. Heat press machine
The heat press machine is one of the thermal transfer printing machines. It can heat various heat presses on cotton, linen, chemical fiber and other fabrics. It can also be heat-treated by screen printing, glue, foaming and other processes. It is suitable for making cultural shirts. It is economical and practical with exquisite patterns. It is replacing traditional embroidery and screen printing, but the cost and effect are much lower and better than the general embroidery and multi-color screen printing.
There are two types of heat press machines related to the apparel industry: flat heat press machines mainly used on apparel fabrics, and cap heat press machines with arcs for hats. According to the operating power, it can be divided into manual, pneumatic and hydraulic.
There are three main concepts of heat press machine, namely pressure, temperature and time. Its working mechanism is to generate heat through the heating plate, use a certain pressure, a specific temperature and time, the transfer layer on the transfer paper and thermally fixed to the substrate or penetrate the substrate.
The core part of the heat press machine is the heating plate, so pay attention to it when choosing the heat press machine. The upper and lower plates should be made of aluminum, and the heating tube is cast in the aluminum plate. If the upper plate is slotted with an aluminum plate, and then attached to the top with a heating tube, it will cause unnecessary energy loss, and it will have the disadvantages of slow heating and large temperature difference. If the lower plate is made of iron or other materials, it will be easily deformed and aging if it works in a high temperature and high pressure environment for a long time. According to the area of the heating plate, there are weight standards for the upper and lower plates. If it is too light and too thin, the heating plate will be easily deformed, affecting the use. Generally speaking, the greater the weight, the more reliable the performance. After pressing the upper plate of the heat press machine, it should be absolutely parallel to the lower plate. To test whether the upper and lower plates are tightly engaged, you can put a piece of hard paper or other sheet-like tough material in the four corners, and then press down the handle. After the upper and lower plates are locked, the hard paper is pulled outward , You can know whether the upper and lower plates are flat and the machine is qualified.
Advantages: No plate-making, one piece of printing; the image is realistic and can be close to the picture effect.
Disadvantages: The hand feels slightly hard; light-colored breathability is very good, but dark-colored is not breathable.
